QUALIFICATIONS AND ACCREDITATION

Qualifications

 

I am a fellow of the Brasenose College Oxford Symposium and an associate lecturer in at the University of East London, devising and lecturing on the MA in Counselling.

 

I completed my Research Doctorate in Psychotherapy at Middlesex University (Metanoia Institute) in 2012 receiving the Jennifer Elton Wilson prize.

 

My professionally accredited five-year training was undertaken at Regents College School of Psychotherapy and Counselling in London where I gained an MA in Psychotherapy and Counselling and a post-qualifying Advanced Diploma in Existential Psychotherapy.

 

Following accreditation, I undertook further training and was awarded two diplomas in Case Work Supervision and Individual and Group Supervision.

 

I also hold a BA, (Honours) in English Literature.

I hold accreditation and registration with the three main UK psychotherapy and counselling professional and regulatory bodies:

 

The United Kingdom Council of psychotherapy (UKCP).

 

The British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).

 

I am a Senior Accredited Practitioner with the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP) (Snr Accred).

I am an Accredited Supervisor (BACP).

 

I adhere to the code of ethics and practice of the UKCP and BACP.

 

I am a member of the Society of Existential Analysis and a full member of the Association for Child and Adolescent Mental Health.

 

My work is professionally and regularly supervised by a UKCP, BPS and BACP supervisor.
